o Have you ever wondered why your Mac slows up or bombs at seemingly random intervals?
o Have you ever wished you could get some indication of when the bombs were going to occur?
o Have you been using a Mac long enough to realize that there are applications that you can trust leaving up in the background, and others that you can not trust?
o Did you know that the Mac is an excellent "MULTI-TASKING" Computer? It just takes using software that has been designed to run stably in the background.
Status monitor can help you become more aware of your CPU's Health and well being. Use it in conjunction with the "about this Macintosh" RAM monitor (found under the Apple Desk Accessories menu selection) to determine how stable your Mac is running. Status requires that you run System 7.0 or above. Make an alias to the Status Application and place it in your System Folder's "Start Up Items" folder. You will be able to use Status "Free of Charge" in "Demo Mode" for 6 sessions. If you have not called "Bead Boutique" Software at 517-631-9462 to register the software by that time($19 Visa or Master Card Only accepted between 3&11pm Eastern time to keep down overhead costs), this app will lock itself into "AutoShut Down" Mode and you will only be able to register this copy. If you register the Software, you will get a Unique registration code that will disable the Manually closed "Please Register Now" dialog that comes up when the application is in "Demo Mode".
The text processor allows you to create Stylized, Color Text documents. The status line at the bottom tells you the status of your document, ie: Words Per Minute(WPM), Time Remaining in one minute test period (TR), charater length, approximate word count, number of lines, start of current line, (length of current line), start of last word, and curser insertion point. If you enter a tab width (8 is the default) greater than 0 characters, the text processor will enter a carriage return at the end of each line and will indent 2 tab stops, giving your document a "structured" look and feel. [cmd]F,G is used to find/findagain and hilight any word you enter into the Status line. The "Read Text" menu option will read text to you if you have installed the Speech Manager.
